I love this picture. This was the first time I put pigtails in Mae Mae's hair. She is just so darn cute!
In May we went to New Orleans for sweet baby Charlotte's christening. Charlotte needed to sit, so Mae Mae offered her lap!
Can you tell she is in heaven? These pageant girls were at the church that morning and offered to let Hannah wear their crowns for a picture. They kept taking pictures of her. I think they were just as excited about getting the attention of a little girl!
We could not keep this one off of the balcony at Pat O'Briens. I hope this is not foreshadowing!
We spent Father's Day weekend in Birmingham with Bop and GeeGee. It was a jam packed weekend, but we had a great time visiting and seeing old friends!
We arrived late Friday evening and just hung out at home. Early Saturday morning we got dressed and headed down to Pepper Place for breakfast.
After breakfast, we went to the zoo. Hannah had not been in over two year, so she didn't really remember what it was all about. Mae Mae had never been. Both girls loved it, but man, was it hot! We only did half the zoo before us big kids decided it was time to go home.
Some of us like getting sprayed by the elephant. Others, not so much.
Our annual Father's Day picture. We started this in 2008 when Hannah was just 3 1/2 months old. In 2011 we added Mae Michael to the picture. Just one year later Ruthie makes three!
Fun swimming in the rain on a random Saturday at the Country Club.
Ruthie has yet to get in the pool. She usually just hangs out with Nana.
Both of the girls beg to have a tea party every day. This was a Saturday that I think Jason was working. I was just happy to have them contained and sitting!
Since 4th of July was in the middle of the week we stayed in town to celebrate. We spent the morning in our blow up pool in the backyard, napped all afternoon, then headed to Nana's house to get ready for the fireworks. Hannah and I were the only Touchtons able to stay up until 9pm to see them. We went to the Country Club to watch them on the golf course and they were awesome. They always do a really good job. Hannah was so funny. She kept looking at me with the surprised look. I had to remind her to keep watching!
This was actually tonight. We were trying to teach Ruthie how to "play the piano" before bathtime, which would explain the neckedness :).
